Be My Everything - Poem

When You are my eyes, the world I see is beautiful;
When You are my ears, the sounds I hear are musical;
When You are my mouth, the words I speak are fruitful;
When You are my hands, the works I do are powerful;
When You are my feet, the steps I take are purposeful;
When You are my heart, the thoughts I think are delightful!

You are the purity of my vision, the sanctity of my thought, the sense of my decisions!
I used to pray, Lord, to be Your eyes, Your mouth, and Your hands;
But, I now pray that You be my eyes, my heart, my everything, my only salvation!
