Matt. 7:12 "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
When Jesus said that we must do to others what we want them do to us, He taught us the way of action against the way of avoidance. He didn't say, 'Don't do to others what you don't want them do to you'; on the other hand, He emphasized on what we must be doing. Anyone can avoid. The dead don't harm anyone; we are not called to an isolation, avoidance lifestyle. But, we are called into the path of action, compassion, kindness, forgiveness, generosity, charity, and going the extra mile.
