Is Religion Dead?

Sociologist Peter Berger had repeatedly argued that, contrary to the old school that insisted on the increasing secularization of society, modern findings actually point to the rise of religiosity. In fact, he notes two major phenomena:
1. The global advancement of Islam
2. The trans-national rise of Pentecostalism.

We can add a third to it:
3. The market significance of Eastern philosophy and nature religions. This is obvious, not just in growing interest in Yoga, traditional medicine, and meditation but also in the emphasis on vegetarianism, spirit cultivation.

4. Also, there is a significant interest in the occult: magic, witchcraft, astrology, etc
