Christ Alone, and Nothing Besides - Poem

For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. (Phi 1:21 KJV)

When manifold wants lay claim over my soul,

I turn to my Lord, who alone satisfies;

When conflicting thoughts come knocking at my door,

I turn to my Lord, the Light of my eyes;

For Christ alone satisfies,

And I desire nothing besides;

Yes, Christ alone satisfies;

And I seek nothing besides.
